Ministry Opportunities
Pray for the Salina Rescue Mission:
Please pray for us daily and put us on the prayer list at your church!
Donate Food:
The food service manager strives to make available the best nutritious meals possible 3 times a day. However we only serve what is donated and available, but remember it will always get used whether it’s canned items, hamburger or even spices.
Donate Clothing:
Any clothing (new or used) for men is always accepted including jeans, coats, shoes, belts, suits and ties. (RETURN)
Have your church group serve meals:
Many churches are always looking for a way to serve as a group and we are blessed with families and Sunday school classes or youth groups that prepare meals. If you would like to join the list of the talented groups of cooks and servers, it’s your opportunity to bless a life with a hot meal.
We need chapel speakers:
Seven days a week, before the evening meal the souls of everyone at the Salina Rescue Mission are fed a message from God’s word. If you know a Christian speaker that would bless the guests with a 15 to 30 minute message before the evening meal please contact us.
Ask a Christian Mentor to help a man:
There never seems to be enough Christian men to offer guidance and be a sounding board for the men in our programs. They need Christian mentors, please pray for any man you know that would offer their wisdom and time. (RETURN)
- Nothing is as simple and direct as giving cash. You can make a general donation, and we will utilize your gift for our greatest current need.
- Join the monthly giving program
This program is for a stewardship lifestyle and to partner in the work of the Salina Rescue Mission. Your monthly gift will provide steady monthly support for the basic rescue ministries of feeding and sheltering the needy we serve. There is no end to the opportunities to see God use His people to change lives and the best benefit is really people helping people and the end result is a life changed. Benefits of joining are an Ambassadors welcome pack, a convenient way to give, only other mailings you will receive are the quarterly newsletter, special events and a Rescue calendar. Gifts may be deducted on a monthly basis from MasterCard or Visa or Electronic Funds Transfer.
