  • Working to mend and restore relationships.
  • Understand that God has a plan for our lives, we will not find peace until we begin to live out the plan God has for us.
  • Address job related issues and financial stewardship.
Medical and Mental Health Program

Medical and Mental Health Program

The Medical and Mental Health Program is for men who cannot work due to physical and/or mental health issues.

  • Address immediate medical or mental health needs.
  • Develop and learn to stick to a care plan to help a person to become the healthiest person they are able to be.
  • Meet with a counselor once a week to discuss personal issues and progress on goals.
  • Once a man starts receiving an income, whether through employment or disability, we discuss how to setup a budget, paying debts, and savings goals.
  • Find a suitable living place within one’s budget.
  • Establish future goals that will help the man stay on the right track.

This is an overview of these programs. While this helps men to determine which program is best for them, we also strive to take the time to cater each program to be able to address specific issues that are unique to each person. In all of our programs, we encourage the men to grow in a relationship with the Lord.

Street Outreach Program

Street Outreach Program

We do not just wait on those who are homeless to come to us, we show them our love and care as we go to them on the streets.

  • We check on their well-being out in the community.
  • Offer sack lunches, bottled water, toiletries, blankets, coats, gloves, stocking caps.
  • Offer and encourage greater help to get off the streets.

All of these programs are supported 100% by caring people like you! The Salina Rescue Mission does not receive any government funding. Please consider a gift to help a person in need today.
